We missed this update during the Mobile World Congress news rush but it is definitely worth mentioning. I purchased Traffic Mania a bit back for my PlayBook but a recent update reminded me that I have forgot to share it with you all. Mobigloo brought this traffic control style game to the PlayBook where you are responsible for keeping things running smoothly in a busy intersection while avoiding crashes. You speed them up and slow them down to accommodate until you crash one of them and then it is game over. You have nine scenes to navigate with multiple types of vehicles. DubMeNow launched in 2009 as a simple way to share contact cards. Now they have reemerged after hibernating for a couple of years and come back with a brand new product under the name CircleBack. The new app aggregates your contacts from your BlackBerry, LinkedIn, email, Facebook, and Twitter and brings them all together to create a full address book which is always up to date. Mblware let us know about their latest smartphone app called Avatar Animator for BBM. The new app is specifically tailor made for BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) and allows you to easily create an animated GIF avatar built on BBM specifications. It will scale your animations to the proper resolutions and the app will also check to make sure the file size is not too big. The popular free screen capture app for BlackBerry Smartphones, Capture Nux, has gotten a nice update to v5.0. According to Thomas who sent in the tip this version adds what they call Canvas Nux. This new feature essentially lets you overlay pictures or clipart on top of your screenshots. If I am not mistake you could do something similar previously but hey its nice to see Capture Nux getting regular updates!
