Amy let us know that SolverLabs has updated their Cut the Rope clone with 36 new levels. Last time we mentioned the game it was called "Cut the Thread" though SolverLabs has since renamed it to "Cut It!" The game has you guiding the bone to the puppy using the physics on your BlackBerry OS 6.0 smartphone.

It has been awhile since I played BrickBreaker but I recently saw a friend of mine playing Ninja Breakout and it brought it all back. XIMAD released Ninja Breakout under the radar a bit back but the game is definitely worth pointing out. It takes the classic Arkanoid game which BrickBreaker hails from and throws in some new twists and Ninja themed gameplay. That means 40 new levels of your favorite BrickBreaker style gaming.

| RIM Details Android In-App Billing API Support in PlayBook OS 2.1 & BlackBerry 10 Posted: 19 Jun 2012 12:45 PM PDT
Its interesting to see RIM supporting more and more Android functionality to make it more enticing for developers to port their apps to the PlayBook and eventually BlackBerry 10. The most notable API support added in the latest PlayBook OS 2.1.0 developer beta build is the ability to use the In App Billing API. This allows developers to sell digital goods inside their PlayBook Ported Android app using App World. There are some limitations and minimal code changes required but most are minimal compromises. | Meebo Shutting Down Mobile Clients – Download Your Chat Logs Posted: 19 Jun 2012 11:03 AM PDT
When I first heard about Google acquiring Meebo I was curious what they were going to do with Meebo's current products. It turns out that Google is shutting down many if not most of them including their mobile instant messaging clients (BlackBerry, Android, iOS). ShvartzBerry pointed out that the Meebo BlackBerry client will no longer work after July 11th, 2012. Also worth noting is that your chat logs from Meebo will only be available until July 11th, 2012 so if you want to download them I highly recommend doing it pronto. Ever felt like the stock market is rigged so that you never come ahead? The latest in the governments insider trading crackdown is a former AT&T sales executive, Alnoor Ebrahim, who admitted this week to leaking data on BlackBerry and iPhone sales for AT&T to traders. Ebrahim was part of an expert network who was paid to get insider secrets to traders as consultants. Reuters quotes Ebrahim saying:

| Luhu Streams Hulu From Your PC to Your PlayBook Posted: 19 Jun 2012 08:04 AM PDT The idiotic user agent based restrictions put in place by Hulu are annoying and have led to some creative solutions. The most common involves using your PC to act as a go between Hulu and your device. While there are more expensive solutions using Splashtop, PlayOn, or others Daniel Bingham has created his own take. Luhu performs the same function by streaming videos onto your Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC and then transcoding it to your PlayBook. There are quite a few caveats such as needing a fast PC and no video controls but it is a start.

| RIM Consolidates BlackBerrys Manufacturers Starting With Celestica Posted: 19 Jun 2012 06:56 AM PDT
RIM mentioned during their last earnings call that they were making changes to their supply chain to lower cost along with other cost cutting measures. As further proof of that fact Celestica has announced that they will no longer be manufacturing BlackBerry products. They have been focused on making Curve and Bold models for North American in Mexico. According to Reuters that brings RIM's manufacturers to Flextronics International Ltd, Jabil Circuit Inc, and Quanta Computer Inc. The first two are expected to win the contract to take over from Calestica since Quanta just builds the PlayBook. Wall Street seems to be spinning this as more bad news for RIM but mostly it is expected. RIM is starting a new with the BlackBerry 10 line and the lower sales figures for legacy BlackBerry devices will continue to go down as they are replaced by the new generation. I am just hoping this also means that RIM will have two, max three, lines of BlackBerry 10 devices instead of the multitude of form factors we currently have. | Dave Balmer Joins RIM Developer Relations Team from WebOS Posted: 19 Jun 2012 05:50 AM PDT
It is nice to see RIM's Developer Relations Team getting some great cross pollination from other platforms with the latest coming from WebOS. Dave Balmer previously worked as a developer evangelist for WebOS and HTML5 and is now bringing that expertise to RIM. What is most interesting is his reasoning for doing so and why he thinks RIM is picking up the torch WebOS dropped in terms of leadership in HTML development. I highly recommend checking out his "Leaving WebOS but not the Web!" write up but most of all you should read his three reasons for why he thinks RIM will succeed where WebOS failed:
